Terms & Conditions
The terms on which Filterion sells to you. They are written for consumers buying in Sweden and the EU, and they never reduce the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Who you are buying from
Filterion AB, organisation number 559568-9984, Mjödvägen 6, 746 50 Bålsta, Sweden. VAT number: SE559568998401. Contact us at hello@filterion.se.
These terms apply to orders placed through our online store. If any part of them conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, that law applies and the rest of these terms remain in force.
2. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency selected in the store and include Swedish VAT at the applicable rate for consumer sales within Sweden. Shipping is shown separately and calculated at checkout before you pay. The total payable is always displayed before you confirm the order.
For deliveries outside the EU, import duties or local taxes may apply on arrival and are your responsibility as the recipient. We cannot calculate or collect these in advance.
We correct pricing errors when we find them. If an obvious error means a price is clearly wrong and you could reasonably have realised it, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than deliver at that price.
3. Placing an order
Adding items to your basket is not an order. A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order by e-mail. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item is unavailable — we will tell you and refund any amount already paid.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Card details are handled entirely by the payment provider; we neither receive nor store your full card number.
5. Delivery
We ship to the addresses offered at checkout. Estimated delivery times and shipping costs, including any free shipping threshold, are shown at checkout before you pay. Estimates are not guarantees.
Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you have nominated, takes physical possession of them. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, tell us as soon as you reasonably can so we can resolve it with the carrier.
If we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract, or within any longer period we agreed with you, you may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period. If we still fail to deliver, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
6. Right of withdrawal (ångerrätt)
As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU. The period runs from the day you receive the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parts, it runs from the day you receive the last part.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before the 14 days expire — an e-mail to hello@filterion.se is enough. You may use the standard EU withdrawal form, but you do not have to. Sending the goods back within the period, together with a clear message that you are withdrawing, also counts.
Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us. Unless we have stated otherwise for a particular offer, you pay the cost of returning them.
We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are told of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or you have shown that you have sent them. We refund using the same payment method you used, at no charge to you. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard option, we refund only the standard cost.
You are liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — broadly, the handling you could expect in a shop.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply. By law it does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, once they have been unsealed after delivery, nor to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. Where an item is supplied sealed for hygiene reasons, this is stated on the product page. Unsealing such an item ends the right of withdrawal for that item, but does not affect your rights if the item turns out to be faulty.
7. Faulty goods and complaints (reklamation)
Your statutory rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) apply in addition to, and independently of, the right of withdrawal above. You may complain about a fault for up to three years from delivery. A fault appearing within the first two years is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we show otherwise.
Tell us within a reasonable time of discovering a fault — a message within two months always counts as reasonable. Depending on the circumstances you may be entitled to have the item repaired or replaced, to a price reduction, or to cancel the purchase and be refunded. We cover the cost of returning faulty goods.
Normal wear, and consumable parts reaching the end of their expected service life, are not faults. Filters are consumables with a stated service life; replacing a filter that has reached the end of that life is not a complaint matter.
8. How to return something
Contact hello@filterion.se with your order number and tell us whether you are withdrawing under section 6 or reporting a fault under section 7. We will confirm the return address and, where we bear the cost, provide a return label. Please pack the goods so they arrive undamaged.
9. Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but images are illustrative and minor variations in appearance, colour or packaging may occur. Statements about performance refer to normal use under the conditions described in the product documentation. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
10. Our liability
We are liable for loss caused by our breach of contract or negligence as provided by mandatory law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Swedish Product Liability Act, nor any liability that cannot be limited by law.
We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including transport disruption, natural events, or the failure of infrastructure we depend on. If such an event continues for a prolonged period, either of us may cancel the affected order and you will be refunded in full.
11. Your personal data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Disputes
Please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly that way. If we cannot agree, you may refer the matter free of charge to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. We follow ARN’s recommendations.
Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. As a consumer you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country in which you are habitually resident.
13. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The version published when you place an order is the version that governs that order, so changes never apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
